As of April 10, 2018,  Ardeshir Zahedi’s personal papers are open for research at the Hoover Institution.  The Shah’s last Ambassador to Washington was a colorful and controversial figure, but he and his father, Fazlollah, were important players in Iran’s political and diplomatic arena prior to the revolution.  The papers focus mainly on his second tour in Washington (1973-79) but incorporate some of his father’s records dating back to the 1900s.  Here’s the announcement
